My journey in web began with monoliths such as Wordpress where the back-end and front-end are one single heavy instance. Whilst content management systems like Wordpress have their place, the future I'm building is headless.
We’re Finalists at the Australian Web Awards 2026
We're super stoked to announce that our submission for Albany 2026 is a finalist in the Australian Web Awards this year.Big Impact, "Shoestring" Budget
Thi year we’ve been nominated as a finalist in the Shoestring category. At Mintyy, we believe that you don’t need an enterprise-level budget to achieve enterprise-level performance and design.
The Albany 2026 project was the perfect canvas to prove this. It required a lean, mean approach to development without sacrificing the sophisticated user experience our clients expect. Being a finalist in this category validates our belief that smart infrastructure beats a bloated budget every single time.
The Tech Stack Trailblazer: Next.js + Sanity
While the front end of Albany 2026 is sleek and functional, the real story is what’s happening under the hood. This project served as a major trailblazer for Mintyy’s global infrastructure.
We used this build to substantially evolve our Next.js + Sanity tech stack.
How we pushed the boundaries:
- Sanity Deep Integration: We pushed the limits of Sanity’s Content Lake, creating a highly structured, modular editing experience that allows the client to manage complex data as easily as writing a text message.
- Infrastructure Synergy: The lessons learned on this project have now been rolled out across all Mintyy builds, elevating the standard for every client we partner with.
Thank you
To the Mintyy team and our partners in Albany: thank you for trusting the process. This nomination belongs to the late nights spent refining Makefiles and the obsessive attention to detail that defines our studio.
Whether we take home the trophy or not, Albany 2026 has already won by setting a new benchmark for what Mintyy can deliver.
