The New Mintyy Website

We’ve officially moved away from the fragmented WordPress hybrid and transitioned to a fully dynamic, Sanity Studio + Next.js ecosystem.

For a long time, we operated on what I call a "sidecar" setup. We had a beautiful static Next.js frontend, but it was head-lessly connected to WordPress for only our blogs and two specific pages. It worked, but it wasn't the high-level structure I envisioned for the future of this studio.

We’ve officially moved away from the fragmented WordPress hybrid and transitioned to a fully dynamic, Sanity Studio + Next.js ecosystem.

The Static Ceiling

Our previous setup was a step in the right direction, but it had limitations. Because WordPress was only handling a fraction of the site, making global changes felt disjointed. We were stuck between two worlds: the modern speed of Next.js and the legacy overhead of WordPress.

Furthermore, as a static site, every minor content update required a full rebuild. It wasn't as "live" or as "fluid" as a modern creative studio needs to be.

The Solution

By moving the entire site into Sanity Studio, we’ve embraced a headless philosophy. There is no longer a "frontend" and a "backend" that feel like separate entities.

What Fully Dynamic Actually Looks Like:

  • Sanity as the Source of Truth: Every single element on the site—from the hero text on the homepage to the technical metadata in the footer—is now managed within a single, elegant Sanity Studio instance.
  • Real-Time Previews: One of the "bells and whistles" I’m most excited about is our new preview engine. We can now see exactly how content looks in a live-rendered environment before we hit "Publish." No more guessing.
  • Modular Page Building: We’ve built a library of custom "Portable Text" components. This allows us to build complex, unique pages in minutes by stacking high-performance modules, rather than coding every page from scratch.

Working Towards the Future

The new Mintyy website is more than just a fresh coat of paint; it is the culmination of years of infrastructure evolution. It is faster, more secure, and 100% dynamic.

I invite you to explore the new site, check out our recent projects, and see the "bells and whistles" in action. If your current website feels like it's stuck in a "static" or fragmented era, let’s talk about how we can build a modern engine for your brand.
